The tambour majorette costume is designed for female assistants to the chief drummer. It is suitable for participants in parades, festivals, theatrical performances, and other events. Female drummers or batons, wearing a white dolman with short skirts and a hussar cap called a shako, attract the attention of the public and a stir among the male audience. The costume is made of suiting fabric with a mixture of natural and a small amount of synthetic fibers.
